Just in!! Wine Bottle Toppers

Look what I made today:

 Wine Bottle Toppers
This one is made from a vintage, porcelain drawer pull

 This one is wood...

 Another vintage porcelain drawer pull

This is a fun not-so-vintage porcelain drawer pull

These, I LOVE! I will be making lots more of them... check back for more.
I have some beautiful Spanish style multicolored designs to make as well as all kinds of other designs.
These will sell for $7.00-$10.00 depending on the top

Christmas

I have been busy stocking up on Christmas Inventory.  This is an example of a Holiday bottle I have been making.  Very cute!

I have some cute spreader choices for the Holidays- I leave some of the bottle necks free from the bling- and just plain.  Then I tie a cute Holiday spreader on with a coordinating ribbon.  That way, the bottle (decor) can be used all year, but the spreader adds a fun, festive touch.
 Candy

 Gingerbread Man

 Super cute Snowman

And, of course- a little bling for the boys (or girls!)

Bombay Sapphire Gin

For the Men

Men can be so hard to shop for. I see them wandering the Craft Fairs, mostly looking quite bored. I started doing a special basket just for the men in my Boutique. More times than not- they see the sign "For the Men" and stop. I have sold as many bottles to them as I have the ladies.  Here are some examples:

This is a Crown Royal Whiskey Bottle, slumped flat.

Here it is with some cheese and crackers on it.

This is a Jameson Whiskey Bottle, and a Fat Tire Brewery Beer Bottle melted together.

This one would fit more than one Cheese option on it. Or maybe some meat and cheese?
I have all kinds of Whiskey, Tequila, Gin, Scotch and Rum bottles that I can slump for anyone who is interested.

Special Orders

I met a lovely lady at an event. She brought me this 1800 bottle and asked me to slump it for her and this is what happened. This one turned out absolutely perfect. I hope she likes it as much as I do!

Halloween Bottles

These are some Halloween Bottles I did. These are labels that have been attached to the underside of the bottle. They are placed on corks to prop them up for the pictures, if you are wondering what that brown stuff is  :)

These are so fun for a Halloween Party!

I will be making all kinds of seasonal bottles coming up..

So check back for more !

Bottles

This is a double compartment bowl made from a white wine bottle. These are dishwasher safe. Can be made from any color bottle.

This below was an accident. I didn't expect the paint to stay on, but it did. I like the way it turned out. This is beaded with glass beads. Hand wash. This is a cheese tray, you can also use them for candles, lemons/limes, stuffed mushrooms, crackers... the possibilities are endless.

Up close detail on the neck

This below is a beachy bottle. Beaded with all natural green river rock and shell beads.
Hand wash. All bottles come with a spreader. The bowls come with a condiment fork. The spreaders and forks are all purchased from Crate and Barrel/World Market etc.

This one I love. Its glass beads, in turquoise and purple and black. Really cute and fun!

This is an example of a bottle that I put the label back on.  This was purchased in Idaho in a Vintage wine shop I found. There is this street in Idaho called "Chicken Dinner Road" This wine is called Chicken Dinner Wine and has the story of Chicken Dinner Road on the back.

These are Bacardi bottles. These are really neat, as the "Bacardi" etched in the glass is still visible after firing, as well as a date. Neat for limes and Mojito's!

This is what happens to an Absolute Vodka bottle if you put it in a kiln! Really neat. The paint all stays on. These are bigger than wine bottles. Great cheese tray.

A Ketel One Vodka bottle.. Very nice, very big. Great cheese tray.

I put the label back on- on the underneath of the bottle- so you always have a nice, clean work area for your food. The labels are also glued to designer paper, leaving the back pretty. They are sprayed with a waterproof spray that leaves them hand washable, and the label will not come off. Below is an example of what the back looks like.
Any questions- you can E-MAIL me here!

Bellissimo

I have finally started my business!  Bellissimo... "everything beautiful" in Italian.  I am from an Italian family where wine is a food group.  This is what I have decided to do with all of those empty wine bottles.
Slumped Glass is done in a Kiln at a very high temperature for a very long time.  I do these in my home with bottles that I purchase, I get from friends and/or recycle.  I buy local wines that are interesting and keep the bottles, and in some cases the labels.  The labels can be put back on after the bottles are slumped.  I do all of the bead work with high quality, beautiful beads.  I can slump any bottle- and take special requests. Do you have a bottle that is special to you? I can make a cheesetray out of it.  I can also do any design as far as the bead work- I  have taken requests for weddings/birthdays/holidays etc and will make one especially for you. The prices are 10.00-20.00 per bottle depending on the size and the bottle. Most of them are 15.00 and come with a nice spreader or condiment fork.  If you have any questions- please E-MAIL ME.
